The Declaration of Celestine Englebrecht upon his solemn oath 
represents that he was born in Munich in Bavaria, that it was bona fide 
his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and to 
renounce   forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, 
Potentate, State or sovereignty whatever and particularly to 
Manimilian, King of Bavaria of whom he was heretofore a subject. And 
that the said Celestine Englebrecht makes report and registry as 
follows: viz:. Name Celestine Englebrecht, Birthplace Munich, Age 25 
years Nation and allegiance Bavaria, Place where he migrated, Have de 
Grace, Place of intended settlement, Cambria County.

Open Court the seventh day  
of January, 1850
