John Humphreys    )                  The declaration of John
                    Humphreys upon his Solemn Oath represents
that he was born in the County of Montgomery in Wales, that it is
bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States,
and to renounce forever all allegiances and fidelity to every foreign
prince, potentate, state or sovereignty whatever and particularly to
Queen Victoria Queen of Great Britain & Ireland of whom he was here-
tofore a subject.  And the said John Humphreys makes report and
registry as follows viz: Name John Humphreys, Birth place, Mont-
gomery County, Wales, Age about 40 years, Nation and Allegiance
Great Britain, Place whence he migrated, Liverpool England,
Place of intended settlement, Cambria County, Penn. ---
