Kuhn Reade Tp for $30 This Indenture made the 22 day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety one between James McCartney of Reade Township, Cambria County and state of pennsylvania of the first part and G. B. Kuhn of the same place of the second part, Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of Thirty Dollars lawful money of the United States of America, unto him well and truly paid by the said party of the second part, at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released, conveyed and confirmed and by these presents, doth grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release, convey, and confirm unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns. All that certain lor or piece of ground situate in Reade Towhsip, Cambria County and state of Pennsylvania bounded and described as follows Beginning at a point on Public Road leading from Lloydsville to Glasgow thence along road 65 degrees east 50 feet to corner of Lot No. 9 now belonging to G. B. Kuhn south 3 1/2 degrees East 150 feet along lot of said G. B. Kuhn's to a post corner, thence South 65 degrees West 50 feet to corner of lot no. 8 in the plan of the town thence at a proper angle to the place of beginning being Lot no.8 and part of lot no.7, also being part of a larger tract of land the title which became vested in party of the first part by deed from Alex B. Reade agent for McMurtree dated 15 Apr 1847. Recorded in the Recorder Office in Cambria County in Deed Book Vol 22 page 654 as reference being had thereto the title will more fully and at large appear. B. Kuhn et ux To W. M. Woodle This Indenture, made the eleventh day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety seven between G. B. Kuhn of the Township of Reade, County of Cambria and state of Pennsylvania and Sadie Kuhn his wife party of the first part and W. M. Woodle of the Township, County and state aforesaid of the second part, Witnesseth: That the said part of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of Thirty Dollars lawful money of the United States of America, unto him well and truly paid by the said party of the second part, at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released, conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents doth grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release, convey and confirm, unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, All that lot on parcel of land situate in the village of Blandsburg, Cambria County, state of Pennsylvania, being lot numbered forty nine (49) and located as follows: Beginning at a corner on South Bowery a distance of one thousand and ten feet from the line of John Rooney and thirty feet from the railroad right of way thence south 62 degrees west along line of South Bowery a distance of fifty feet to lot no. 50; thence south 25 degrees east a distance of one hundred and fifty feet to Hemlock street; thence north 62 degrees east along line of Stendoc street a distance of fifth feet to lot no. 48; thence north 25 degrees west, a distance of one hundred and fifty feet to place of beginning: excepting and reserving for the party of the first part all of the coal, fire clay, oil, gas, and minerals with the right and privilege to operate and remove the same when such operation and removal can be accomplished without injury to the surface of said lot or lots or the improvements erected thereon. Together with all the singular the buildings improvements, ways, waters, water courses, rights liberties, privileges, hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining, and the reversions and remainders, rents, issues, profits thereof, and all the estate, right, title, interest, property, claim and demand whatsoever of the said party of the first part, in law, equity or otherwise howsoever, of, in and to the same and every part thereof, except as above reserved. To Have and to Hold the said lot or lots of ground hereditaments and premises, hereby granted, or mentioned and intended so to be, with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, to and for the only proper use and behoof of the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns, forever. And the said party of the first part for himself, his heirs, executors and administrators, doth by these presents, covenant, grant and agree to and with the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, that he the said party of the first part, his heirs, all and singular the hereditaments and premises herein above described and granted, or mentioned and intended so to be, with the appurtenances, unto the said part of the second part, his heirs and assigns, against him the said party of the first part, and his heirs and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever, lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof, shall and will warrant and forever defend. In Witness Whereof, the said party of the first part hath to these presents set his hand and seal dated the day and year first above written G. B. On this eleventh day of March A. D. 1877, before me the subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and for said County personally came the above-named G. B. Kuhn, who in due form of law acknowledged the foregoing Indenture to be their act and deed, and desired the same may be recorded as such, the said Sadie Kuhn wife of said G. B. Kuhn being of full age, and by me examined separate and apart from her said husband, and the contents of the said Indenture being first made fully known to her, declared that she did, of her own free will and accord, sign and seal and, as her act and deed, deliver the same without any coercion or compulsion of her said husband.
