PA Vol. 38, Page 70, Cambria Co. Book of Deeds This Indenture, made the Twelfth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy five, Between George Seymore of Allegheny Township in the County of Cambria and State of Pennsylvania, and Philomena his wife and Philip Seymore of Carroll Township in said County and State, and Jane his wife parties of the first part, and George Sharp, Sr., John Sharp, and George Sharp Jr. all of Munster Township in the county and State aforesaid - parties of the second part, Witnesseth, that the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of Four Thousand and nine hundred and fifty dollars lawful money of the United States of America, unto them well and truly paid by the said parties of the second part, at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released, conveyed, and confirmed, and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release, convey, and confirm unto the said parties of the second part, their heirs and assigns. All that certain tract, piece or parcel of land situate in the Township of Allegheny, in the county of Cambria, and State of Pennsylvania bounded on the South by lands of Christian Eckenrode, and Richard Bradley, on the West by lands of Demetrius McGough and Francis A. Stone Esq. on the North by lands of same, and on the East by lands of Anthony Sill containing one hundred and sixty seven acres being the same tract, piece or parcel of land which James McAteer and his wife by their Deed dated the Twenty fifth day of March A..D. One Thousand eight hundred and sixty eight, and recorded in the office for recording deeds & in and for Cambria County in Record Book, Vol. 28, Page 14 & conveyed to Bernard Shields and Charles Shields and the same tract or piece of land - Bernard Shields and Charles Shields and Bridget his wife by their Deed dated the twenty fifth day of March A.D. one thousand eight hundred and seventy three, conveyed to George Seymore and Philip Seymore - grantors in this Indenture Reference had to said Deed, by James McAteer & wife to said Bernard Shields and Charles Shields - will more fully describe said tract, piece or parcel of land. Together with all and singular the buildings, improvements, ways, waters, water courses, rights, liberties, privileges, herditaments, and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining and the reversions and remainders, rents, issues, and profits thereof; and all the estate, right, title, interest, property, claim, and demand whatsoever of said parties of the first part, in law, equity, or otherwise howsoever, of, in, and to the same and every part thereof, To Have and to Hold the said tract, piece or parcel of land hereditatments, and premises hereby granted, or mentioned, and intended so to be, with the appurtenances, unto the said parties of the second part, their heirs and assign forever. And George and his wife, and Philip Seymore and wife the said parties of the first part, and their heirs, executors, and administrators, do by these presents, covenant, grant and agree to and with the said parties of the second part, their heirs and assigns, that they the said parties of the first part, and their heirs all and singular the herditaments and premises herein above described and granted, or mentioned and intended so to be, with the appurtenances, unto the said parties of the second part, their heirs and assigns, against them the said parties of the first part, and their heirs, and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever, lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof, shall and will warrant and forever defend. Sanph /s/ George Seymore /s/ Philip Seymore On Twelfth day of April Anno Domini, 1875, before me, one of the Justices of the Peace in and for Cambria County came the within named George Seymore and Philomina his wife, and Philip Seymore and Jane his wife and acknowledged the above Indenture to be their act and deed, and desired the same might be received as such. The said Philomena Seymore and Jane Seymore being of full age, and by me examined separate and apart from their said husbands and the contents of said Indenture being first made fully known to them declared that they did, of their own free will and accord, sign and seal, and as their act and deed deliver the same without any coercion or compulsion of their said husband or husbands.
