Friday, 27 Mar 1908 Volume 42, Number 13 **[Mostly faded and illegible] The Sick of the Town Several of the older citizens of the town are now on the sick list, the oldest of whom is Mrs. Catharine Dougherty of the West ward whose age is 83 [faded; may be 93] years. Mrs. Dougherty has been troubled for several years with rheumatism and spinal trouble has recently developed. Mr. Griffith Jones of the West Ward continues ill of stomach and bowel trouble. J. D. Shenfelt of Julian street, a Civil war veteran, is suffering from the effects of a wound received while in the service of the country. He was shot through the neck below the ears and the wound is now giving him much trouble.
