Friday, 2 Apr 1909 Volume 43, Number 14 Local and Personal Miss Grace Morris of Cambria Township, a daughter of Thomas Morris, has gone to Philadelphia, where she will enter a training school for nurses. Mrs. Chester Langdon of Hopewell, Bedford County, is the guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James F. Marstellar at the Mountain House. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Siviter and children of Pittsburg will arrive here tomorrow for a visit with Mrs. C. T. Roberts. Mrs. Carrie Dilworth of Ebensburg has returned to her home here after spending some time with relatives in Ohio. Mrs. C. P. Pannebaker has been called to Philipsburg on account of the serious illness of her mother. Went to Auto Show A number of Ebensburg auto enthusiasts Wednesday went to Pittsburg where they visited the automobile show. They were T. Stanton Davis; A. L. Riggs; J. A. Boney; John W. Kephart; Mark Frailey; M. J. Stoltz and Isaiah Brown. Moves to Farm During the last few days, Mrs. Gertrude Kimball and family have removed from the McDonald property on High Street to their farm, "Clover Hill," where they will remain during the summer months. Are Coming Back Mrs. H. P. Lloyd and her sister, Miss Priscilla Jones, former residents of Ebensburg, who for the past several years have made their home in Chicago, will return to this place this month to reside permanently. Returns to Ebensburg Attorney Alfred Shoemaker has returned to Ebensburg from Johnstown, where he had been practicing law and has engaged rooms in the Davis Block, where he will continue his practice. Kephart Buys Car Attorney John W. Kephart this week in Pittsburg purchased a new touring car of the Winton make. The car is a six-cylinder, 60-horse power machine of the most improved model. It will be delivered May 1st. Mrs. Mannian Ill Mrs. Martin Mannian of Clearfield Township, very well known in that vicinity, is quite poorly, it was said yesterday. Mrs. Mannian resides near Chest Springs. Letters Lately Issued Estate of Margaret Ann Genter, late of Cresson Township. Will probated and no letters issued.
