The Alleghanian. (Ebensburg, Pa.) 1859-1865 January 26, 1860
We are pained to learn that a child aged about two years, daughter of M. J. Smith,
of Gallitzen, was so severely scalded on Saturday of last week, as to result in her
death. In playing about a table, she accidentally upset a bucket of boiling water
upon her head, scalding her so severely as to result in almost instantaneous death.
The bereaved parents have our sympathy.
