The Cambria Freeman. (Ebensburg, Pa.) November 28, 1867
We are pained to learn that a most distressing accident occurred at Wilmore, this
county, on Tuesday morning. Henry Martin was instantly killed by a ball from a rifle
in the hands of Valentine Maltzi. Of course the whole affair was purely accidental.
Mr. Maltzi is suffering the keenest anguish in consequence of the sad occurrence.
The deceased was a man of family, and had but recently moved to Wilmore. He was
employed on the railroad repairs near that place.
