The Cambria Freeman. (Ebensburg, Pa.) July 15, 1869
From the Johnstown Tribune, we learn that, Margaret Jane Flenner, aged fourteen
years, while in a field where there were several horses, in Richland township, this
county, on Sunday, 4th inst., was kicked by one of them in the back of the neck,
dislocating the vertibral column and causing almost instant death. A little brother
who was with her was the only witness of the sad occurrence.
