The Alleghanian. (Ebensburg, Pa.) May 29, 1862
Rev. B. L. Agnew, of Johnstown, by advice of his physician, and in deference to the
earnest protestations of a large number of his congregation, the Presbyterian, has
finally determined not to return to the army, and will therefore resign his position
as Chaplain to the 76th Penna. Regiment, Col. Power.
