The Alleghanian. (Ebensburg, Pa.) July 31, 1862
Robert E. Jones, formerly of this place, but lately a member of the 12th regular
infantry, is an inmate of Charity Hospital, Philadelphia. He was so unfortunate as
to have the index finger of his right hand shot off at the battle of Gaines' Mills.
