The Cambria freeman. (Ebensburg, Pa.) 1867-1938: April 22, 1871
Died, at the residence of his son, John Bennett, in Carroll township, on Monday
last, Richard Bennett, aged 84 years. Mr. Bennett was a native of Wales, emigrated
to this country when he was about 33 years of age, and settled on a tract of land
three miles north of this place, on which he continued to reside until a few years
ago. He was an amicable, kind-hearted man, an upright and honest citizen, and
enjoyed the confidence and respect of all who knew him.
