HERMAN J. BECK

Of Blandburg, died at 12.01 a.m. yesterday in the Altoona Hospital where he had been a 
patient since Sept. 13. He was born Feb. 14,1883, in Belleville, Ill., a son of John and 
Caroline (Frick) Beck, and married Cora Mae Lovell. Surviving are his wife, nine 
children, Mrs. Hilda Bradford of Bradford of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Louise McClellan of 
Altoona, Mrs. Esther Coder and Mrs. Florence Simpson of Patton, Mrs. Mary Letcher of 
Williamsport, Mrs. Alma Caplon of Detroit, Mich., David of Fallentimber RD, Mrs. Edna 
Fowler. of Blairsville and Russell of Tyrone; 19 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, 
and live brothers and sisters, William C. of Tyrone, Mrs. Jo Hanna Weidemuller of Jersey 
City, N.J., Mrs. Mary Rayson of Blandbu, Kathryn of Harrisburg and Albenr of Buffalo, 
N.Y.  He was a member of the Blandburg Lutheran Church, Bellwood Eagles and 
Brotherhood of Railroad Telegrathers. 

Friends are being received at the Troxell Funeral Home, Glasgow, until 11 a.m. 
tomorrow and thereafter at the church.
