Friday, 5 May 1905 Volume 39, Number 17 Miss Nannie Bender Nannie, the 14-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Bender of the Bender Hotel, Ebensburg, died at 6 o'clock Tuesday morning at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Donegan of St. Augustine. She had been living with her grandparents since last fall and shortly after she arrived there, suffered an attack of typhoid fever. She had almost recovered from this disease when tuberculosis developed. Later this, complicated with heart trouble, resulted fatally. Besides her parents she is survived by four brothers and a sister, all at home. The remains were brought to this place Tuesday afternoon. The funeral took place at 9 o'clock Thursday morning from the Catholic church in this place, interment being made in the church cemetery.
