Mrs. Sarah A. Bender 

Mrs. Sarah A. Bender, widow of Henry Bender, died late Monday night at her home in 
Carroll township at the age of 84 years.  She was a native of Carroll township and spent 
her entire life in that community.  The surviving children are A. A. Bender of Carroll 
township; H. E. of Carroll township; W. B. of Pittsburg; Mrs. Henry Link of Hastings; Mrs. 
A. Wetzel of Carrolltown and Miss Ida, at home.  One sister, Mrs. John Latternes of 
Munster township, also survives.

The funeral was held Thursday morning from St. Benedict's Catholic church at 
Carrolltown with interment in the church cemetery.
