Archibald Black
Altoona, Pa.

Oct. 21 -- Archibald A. Black, aged 64, is dead of the 
effects of a bullet which he has carried in his head since 
the battle of Gettysburg.  He was a bugler in the Federal 
army and in the retreat in the first day's fighting, he was 
shot in the head accidentally by one of his comrades.
