Friday, 22 Mar 1907 Volume 41, Number 12 Killed Stealing Ride While stealing a ride Monday afternoon, Wilson Blackburn, aged twenty-two years, who was married and leaves a wife at Gallitzin, was thrown from a fright train one mile east of Portage and instantly killed. The wheels passed over his body and he was terribly mangled. His remains were taken in charge by his brother-in-law, James Hunt, and given to an undertaker to be prepared for burial. Definite arrangements have not been made for the funeral.
