Friday, 6 Dec 1907 Volume 41, Number 48 Miss Jessie Blair Miss Jessie Blair, daughter of Mrs. Catherine Fenlon Blair of Ebensburg, died at her home Thursday morning about 9 o'clock, aged 17 years and 10 months. The deceased, who had been an invalid practically all her life, became ill of diphtheria about a week ago. Jessie Blair was born in Ebensburg Jan. 18, 1890, and spent her entire life here. Her father, Celestine J. Blair, who was register and recorder of Cambria County 20 years ago, died May 11, 1897. Her grandfather on her mother's side was the late Hon. John Fenlon, Esq., at one time a member of the state house of representatives and her grandfather on her father's side is the venerable John A. Blair of Ebensburg who served as county treasurer and later as sheriff. Besides her mother Miss Blair is survived by these brothers and sisters: Frank, Mary Grace, Louise, Pauline, Katharine, Celestine and Fenlon, all of Ebensburg. Miss Blair was a member of the Catholic church of which the Rev. Hugh M. O'Neill is pastor. The funeral took place at 9 o'clock this Friday morning with private interment in the old Catholic cemetery adjoining the church.
