SIMON S. BORTMAN    

Simon S. Bortman, 76, died at his home in Patton and was buried there after 
mass in St. Mary's Catholic church Monday.  Surviving are his wife, to whom he 
was married 51 years ago, three sons and five daughters, a brother and a 
sister, 39 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  One daughter, Mrs. Ed 
Bortman, resides in Altoona.
