Bracken, the 13-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Hudson C. Bracken, of Johnstown, was struck and instantly killed by the first section of Main Line express on Saturday morning at the Morrellville grade crossing. The lad had been sent upon an errand by his mother and on his way home, jumped on a wagon load of sand. The wagon was driven on the track ahead of the express. The driver jumped, but the boy did not. The boy was on the pilot of the engine with his skull fractured and dead when the train was stopped.
