Mrs. Abbie Brawley Dead 

Mrs. Abbie Brawley, widow of the late David Brawley, died 
at her home at Export, Westmoreland County, Sunday, at the 
age of ninety-seven years, one month and eight days.

Mrs. Brawley formerly resided in Cambria township along the 
Pittsburg Pike in what is known as the Old Stone House.  
From that place the Brawley family removed to Westmoreland 
county about forty years ago.  David Brawley died sixteen 
years ago.  There were 13 children at the Brawley family, 
eight of whom are living.  They are:  Mrs. Mary Ann, widow 
of the late Hon. R. L. Johnson of Ebensburg; Alexander 
Brawley of Barr township; William, Abraham, Thomas, David, 
Andrew Jackson and Harry, all of Westmoreland County.

The remains of the deceased were laid to rest Tuesday at 
Irwin.
