Friday, 31 Mar 1905 Volume 39, Number 12 Mrs. Mary Brawley Mrs. Mary Brawley, wife of Alex Brawley, died at her home in Barr township on Tuesday, March 28. The deceased had been sick for over seven months, the ailment first being Bright's disease and stomach trouble which finally developed into dropsy. She was born on the farm on which she died and was three days less than 59 years old. Her maiden name was Gillespie and she is survived by one brother, Francis Gillespie, of Braddock. She is also survived by her husband and three sons – Ed and William, farmers of Carroll township and Harry, at home. After high mass of requiem on Thursday morning she was laid to rest in St. Benedict's cemetery. She possessed hosts of friends who mourn their loss.
