PORTAGE PICKINGS.

Mrs. Sarah Brookbank, of Summerhill township, departed this life on 
Sunday, the -- inst.  Her remains were interred in the Catholic 
cemetery at Wilmore on Wednesday following.  She was about 83 years of 
age, and had been a helpless invalid for sixteen years.
