Friday, 13 Oct 1905 Volume 39, Number 40 Patton Boy Killed Clair Brown, a Trapper, Crushed to Death by Trip of Mine Cars Patton, Oct. 11 Clair Brown, 15 years old, was killed yesterday at No. 5 mine. He was a son of A. I. Brown. The boy was a trapper and was working in one of the main headings in which a long train of cars stood. Another trip came past and a portion of the train jumped the track. Young Brown did not have an opportunity to escape. The funeral was held Thursday morning, the interment being at the Cassidy cemetery.
