All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/cambria/ _______________________________________________ Altoona Times Friday Morning 11 Oct 1918 BRUCE Mrs. Margaret Bruce died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Cecelia Ansman of 1924 Twelfth avenue, at 5:25 o'clock yesterday morning after an illness of three months following a stroke of paralysis. She was born in Ireland on May 2, 1838, at the age of 17, came to this country and located with her family at Loretto, Cambria county, where she spent most of her life. She moved to this city five years ago to make her home with her daughter in this city. She was a member of St. Leo's Catholic church. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Cecelia Ansman, Elizabeth and Thomas at home, George of Cresson, John of Braddock, and Mrs. William Brolly of Gray, Pa., and the following sisters: Mrs. William Fector of this city and Mrs. John Beckel of Nicktown.
