Friday, 18 Jan 1907 Volume 41, Number 3 Miss Frances Byrnes Miss Frances DeSales Byrne (sic), daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Byrne, died at the family residence in Irwin, Pa., on Sunday, Jan. 13, 1907, at 7:30 p. m. in her twenty- second year. She had been ill for several months and bore her sufferings with patience and resignation to the will of God and was never known to complain. She had a kind and gentle disposition, always ready to do good to others and resigned to give up her soul to the one who saw fit to call her to her reward. She was a most devout Catholic and earnest church worker. After a solemn High Mass in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, her remains were laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery, followed by a large concourse of relations and sorrowing friends. With her parents, the deceased is survived by the following brothers and sisters to mourn her sad loss: Julia A., Michael D., Mary E., Esther B., Ada V. and John J., all at home.
