The mountain sentinel: (Ebensburg, Pa.) 1844-1853: August 12, 1852
At the foot of Plane No. 2, on Wednesday morning, 11th inst. of Typhus Fever Mark
Campbell. This sad announcement grieves the hearts of all who knew the man. All his
acquaintances were his friends, enemies he had none. For honesty, uprightness and
industry he had earned a name in this community which time cannot efface. His
decease is a sad affliction to his family. May heaven lighten their sorrows.
