The Patton courier: (Patton, Cambria Co., Pa.): 30 May 1929
The Courier mentions the death of Emory K. Christoff, a well known and respected
Patton resident whose demise took place at the Clearfield hospital on Saturday, May
18th, and whose burial took place on Tuesday afternoon of last week in Fairview
cemetery. Mr. Christoff had been a patient at the Miner’s hospital, Spangler, but
was later removed to the Clearfield hospital, where he was to have undergone an
operation. He is survived by his widow and the following children: John, Mary Ellen
and Julia, all at home; also by a sister, Mrs. S. A. Rohart, of Winburne, and two
brothers, John J., and G. K. Christoff, both of Patton. He had been a resident of
Patton for the past 28 years.
