The Cambria freeman. (Ebensburg, Pa.) 1867-1938: July 21, 1870
On Monday, 11th inst., at her residence near Lilly's Station, in Washington
township, Mrs. Mary Conlogue, aged about 34 years. Mrs. Conlogue's maiden name was
Mary Varley. The writer of this brief tribute to her memory knew her well, she
having been during several years the fond and devoted friend of his children. She
was modest, unassuming, and a strict member of the Catholic church, with all the
requirements of whose faith she ever religiously complied. She married and became
the mother of eleven children. She was as true and faithful a wife as she had been a
pure and virtuous girl.
