Jesse James Cameron, 85, of 207 Ottawa St., Johnstown PA, formerly residing at
411 Southmont Blvd., died Friday, July 14, 1978.  Mr. Cameron retired from the
Mobil Oil Company.  He was born Nov. 21, 1892, in Belsano, Cambria County and
was a son of Charles and Alice (Bracken) Cameron.  He married Sylvia M. Davis on
Oct. 1, 1914 in Pittsburgh, PA.  He is survived by these children: Ruth, wife of
Edwin F. Vincent, Washington D.C.; Alice, wife of Earl J. Livingston, Johnstown,
PA; Louis Wayne, St. Augustine, Fl; James, married to the former Lois
McClintock, Hollidaysburg; Jean, wife of Carl L. Rice Jr., Somerset, PA; 15
grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; one brother,
Harry, of Alum Bank, PA; and one sister, Mary Belle, wife of Herman Hersch,
Meyersdale, PA.  He was a member of the Overbrook United Methodist Church,
Jennerstown Sportsman's Club and a former member of the Southmont Volunteer Fire
Company.  Funeral services were held at the John Henderson Funeral Home, 215
Central Avenue, Johnstown, the Rev. Robert Horseman officiating.  Burial will be
in the Richland Cemetary.
