Mrs. John Carey.

SOMERSET, Sept. 26. --- Mrs. John Carey, sr., aged 58, died yesterday afternoon at her 
home here, following a stroke of paralysis. She had been in poor health for the last four 
months.

Surviving are her husband and these children: John, jr., and Edgar Carey, both of 
Somerset; Mrs. Clarence Sehrock, of Somerset; Elmer, Betty, Joseph, Leon and 
Magdaline, all of Somerset. She was a sister of Elizabeth Darrah, of Meyersdale.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday morning in St. Peter's Catholic Church, in 
charge of the Rev. Father J. P. Manning. Interment will be in the Husband cemetery, in 
charge of Charles R. Hauger, local mortician.
