Mrs. John Carey, jr.

SOMERSET, Nov. 5 – Mrs. Kathleen (Purcell) Carey, aged 34, wife of John Carey, jr., 
died this morning in Community Hospital after an illness of a complication of diseases.

Surviving are her husband and these children: John, Patrick, Anna May and Edward, all 
at home. She also leaves her mother, Mrs. Patrick Purcelll of New York, and these 
brothers and sisters: Robert of Gray, Lawrence of Cleveland, O., John of Pittsburgh, 
Richard and Charles, both of Buffalo, N.Y., Mrs. James Boyce of Pittsburgh, and Miss 
Ella Jane Purcell of Buffalo, N.Y.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock in St. Peter's 
Catholic Church. Rev. Father John P. Manning will officiate. Interment will be in the 
Husband Cemetery, in charge of Charles R. Hauger, local mortician.
