CHERICO Mr. Cherico, 51, of Junction City, Kan., formerly of Gallitzin, died Monday Nov. 16, 1992 at Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center, Kansas, following a brief illness. Mr. Cherico was employed as a sporting goods manager at Wal-Mart stores in Kansas. He retired from the Army after 20 years' service. He served in Germany, Vietnam and Thailand and received the Bronze Star. He was born April 20, 1941, in Coupon, the son of Arthur and Stella (Kent) Cherico. He married Herta Ruth in 1966 in Germany. Surviving are his wife and two sons: Karl and Jason, at home. Also surviving are four brothers and a sister: John, Carmen and Michael of Gallitzin and Raymond of Akron and Cindy Skupien of Gallitzin.
