Mrs. Susan Clark, Wife of John H. Clark, of Cresson, died at 9:30 
o'clock yesterday morning, at the home of her husband's brother, Thomas 
Clark, on Pennsylvania avenue, Pittsburg.  Mrs. Clark had not been well 
for some time, and went to Pittsburg about a month ago to place herself 
under medical treatment.  An operation was postponed, and the lady's 
unexpected deceased has now rendered it unnecessary.  Her husband, 
daughter Jessie and sister Miss Gussie Linton, were with her in her 
last days and she had every care.  Mrs. Clark was a daughter of the 
late ex-Sheriff Robert Linton, and was born in Johnstown about fifty-
three years ago.  Her husband has for many years been proprietor of the 
Callan House, at Cresson.
