CLAYCOMB - Sewell, 74, Summerhill, died at 4:20 a.m. Mar. 25, 1956, in Memorial Hospital. 
Born Sept. 27, 1881, in Weyant, Bedford County, son of Andrew and Mary (Wyant) Claycomb. 
Survived by widow, former Fannie Griffith. Couple was married Nov. 20, 1911, in 
Hollidaysburg. Also survived by these children:  Charlotte, wife of  William Harris, Bellwood; 
Sewell G., Vickroy Avenue; J Harper, Strafford Village, Wayne, Pa.; Frank, East McKeesport; 
Mrs. Lila wood and Lenora, wife of Edgar Burtnett, both of Johnstown, and Joseph and Phyllis, 
wife of Ronald Dillon, both of Summerhill; 19 grandchildren. Brother of Mrs. Sadie Ream, 
Windber R. D.; Mrs. Cleo Deyarmin, Windber, and Mrs. Salome Claycomb, Alum Bank. 
Summerhill grocer for 50 years; retired in January, 1955.  Member of Summerhill EUB Church. 
Friends received in Charles O. Diamond Funeral Home, South Fork, where services will be held 
at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Rev. M. R. Tyson and Rev. Fern T. Barner. Interment, Forest Lawn 
Cemetery.
