Friday, 23 Jun 1905 Volume 39, Number 24 James H. Cogan, an old resident of Clearfield township, died at his residence last Thursday evening. The deceased was about 75 years of age and is survived by three children: Lambert of Chest township; Ambrose of Altoona; and Mary, who resides at home. He was buried in the Catholic cemetery at St. Augustine last Saturday. Mr. Cogan was possessed of considerable property of which he disposed of by will in the following manner: One hundred dollars to St. Augustine church; one hundred dollars for masses; one thousand dollars to the St. Paul's Catholic orphan asylum and the balance to be divided among his children. John Sheehan and H. Adams of Clearfield township are the executors.
