Lucinda Marsh and John Colbert were married in the Franklin-street M.E. Church, this city, by the Rev. William F. Lauck in 1854, and they had since resided in this vicinity. Ten children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Colbert, eight of whom preceded their mother to the grave.
