Friday, 10 Feb 1905 Volume 39, Number 5 James Collins James Collins died Monday morning at 8:30 o'clock at the home of his sister, Mrs. Thomas Haverly, 173 Washington avenue, Altoona, after being sick for some time with la grippe. He was born in Cambria county and was aged 58 years and was employed for twenty-five years by the Pennsylvania railroad company. He is survived by his sister, Mrs. Thomas Haverly and one brother, Thomas Collins, of Pittsburg. He was a member of St. John's Catholic church. The funeral was held on Wednesday morning at 8:30 o'clock when requiem mass was celebrated in St. John's Pro-Cathedral, the interment being made in St. John's cemetery.
