Friday, 17 Mar 1905 Volume 39, Number 10 William Craver William, son of the late Louis and Teresa Craver, formerly of this place, died of tuberculosis at Rutherford, N. J. on Monday, March 3, 1905, aged 29 years. Mr. Carver was very well known in this place where he had a host of friends. Prior to his departure from this place he was employed as a clerk in the clothing store of Mr. C. P. Pannebaker. After leaving Ebensburg he secured a position as clerk in the New York Store of John Wanamaker, which position he held until a short time prior to his serious illness. Mr. Craver was an upright young man of exemplary habits and was held in esteem by all who knew him. As a clerk in Mr. Pannebaker's store in Ebensburg he was accommodating and attentive to business and won for himself a host of friends. He is survived by the following sisters: Mrs. Richard Burr of Ebensburg; Mrs. Matt J. Ryan of Clearfield Township and Mrs. John Ryan of Fulton. He is also survived by one brother, Edward, prominent in the Public Schools at Rutherford, N. J. The remains arrived here Wednesday, funeral services being held in the Catholic church Thursday morning at 9 o'clock and interment made in the cemetery adjoining the church.
