E. Howell of 319 Craig St. She was a daughter of Wesley and Elizabeth (Kerns) DeHaven and was born in Hollidaysburg on Sept. 29, 1864. Her husband died in 1935 and a daughter, Mrs. Pearl Risbon, died nine months ago. Surviving are five children – John, Cleveland, O.; Mrs. Elizabeth Olnhausen, Pittsburgh; Mrs. Catherine Schulz, Altoona; Mrs. Mary Howell, mentioned, and Mrs. Hazel Begandy, Rochester, N.Y. Also surviving are 26 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two brothers, Albert DeHaven, Gallitzin, and Harry DeHaven, Altoona. Friends are being received at the Howell home. A requiem high mass will be celebrated at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning at St. Patrick's Catholic Church by Rev. Father Joseph Farren. Interment will be in the church cemetery under the direction of H. F. Conrad & Bro., local morticians.
