Thursday Morning, January 18, 1917 JOHN CRAWFORD John Crawford, for the past seven years hostler at the White Hall hotel stables, died at his home, 1612 Twelfth avenue, at 10.05 o'clock yesterday morning of pneumonia. He was taken ill on Sunday, growing steadily worse until his death. Mr. Crawford was born at Richlands, Cambria county, July 20, 1853, and soon after moved with his parents, John and Mary Crawford, now deceased, to Highland Fling, where he farmed until seven years ago. His wife, who was formerly Miss Margaret Kopp, survives, with three children: Mrs. C. E. Mayes and Joseph Crawford, both of Juniata, and Miss Mary Crawford, at home. Two sisters, Mrs. Joseph Seguin, of Highland Fling, and Mrs. William Hildebrand, of Richlands, also survive, together with five grandchildren. The funeral will be held with services at the late home at 11 o'clock Friday morning, after which the body will be taken to Richlands for interment, on Friday afternoon.
