Friday, 17 Mar 1905 Volume 39, Number 10 Mrs. Bernard Cupple Mrs. Bernard Supple (sic) of Portage died on the 11th inst. at her home in that place of enteric trouble. The funeral took place on Wednesday, interment being made in St. Bartholomew's Cemetery at Wilmore. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Father Egan, who celebrated a Requiem High mass for the repose of her soul. The deceased was born in Ireland about 58 years ago and came to America when quite young, settling in Broadtop, Pa. A number of years ago she came to Portage where she resided until her death. She is survived by her husband, two sons and three daughters. The sons are Frank of Patton and Bernard, at home, and the daughters are Maggie, Mrs. John Fitzgerald and Mrs. Vincent McGlade, all of Portage. She is also survived by a number of grandchildren. She was a devout member of the Catholic church at Portage and was a most exemplary Christian woman, a good wife and mother. She had a number of friends in the Broadtop county as at Portage, all of whom will sincerely sympathize with the bereaved family in their loss.
