The Alleghanian. (Ebensburg, Pa.) 1859-1865: September 22, 1859
On Sunday last, in Ebensburg, Ebenezer Davis, aged about 78 years. The deceased was
a native of Wales, and had served many years in the British army. His trade here was
that of a weaver, and we have often thought, as we passed his place of business,
that he was one of the most perfect models of industry ever seen. Late and early his
loom was in operation. He was retired in his habits, and unassuming in his manners.
