Friday, 27 Jan 1911 Volume 45, Number 4 W. C. Daly's Sudden Death W. C. Daly, a traveling salesman, well known in this county and who for three weeks was a member of Gen. Hastings' staff after the Flood, died of apoplexy on a train Friday night while traveling from Shippensburg to Philadelphia. He was one of the first persons to assist in burying Flood victims in the temporary plot on Prospect. J. G. Lloyd of Ebensburg was a personal friend of Mr. Daly.
