Mrs. R. R. Davis Passes Away 

Died on Wednesday September 4th, 1907, at 11:45 o'clock, 
Mrs. Harriet Davis, wife of Roland R. Davis, the well known 
Ebensburg insurance agent.  Mrs. Davis had been suffering 
for some time with heart trouble which was the cause of her 
death.  She was aged 68 years and one day and was a most 
excellent woman.

Mrs. Davis was a daughter of the late William G. Williams 
(Ridge) and wife, of Cambria Township and was married to 
Roland R. Davis on March 20, 1860.  To this union ten 
children were born, three of which survive – Mrs. George T. 
Davis, George A. Davis and Herschell T. Davis.  Her husband 
and one sister, Mrs. Martha Jones, wife of the late Thomas 
L. Jones, also survive.  The funeral services will take 
place at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Congregational 
Church and will be in charge of the Rev. J. T. Jones.  
Interment will be made in Lloyd cemetery.
