Friday, 19 Jan 1912 Volume 45, Number 3 Patrick Dillon Dead Hastings, Jan. 19 Patrick E. Dillon, for six years county commissioner; for one term county auditor and one year constable of Elder and Chest townships, died Tuesday morning at his home in Elder township. This well known resident of Cambria county was born 64 years ago in Carroll township. Since then he resided in Carroll and Elder township, spending more than 40 years in the latter. Mr. Dillon's widow was Miss Caroline Bagley who survives. They were married in the Catholic church at Carrolltown. Besides his widow, the deceased is survived by the following children: Robert, who conducts a grocery at Carrolltown; William B. of this place, the well-known liveryman; Stephen, who resides on the old homestead; Maude, wife of Samuel Weakland of Patton; Dennis, at home; Nora, wife of Michael Ward of Spangler; Roda, wife of Hugh Dillon of Patton; Edwin of Hastings, an employee of the Pennsylvania Coal & Coke corporation and Fannie and Alvin, at home. He was a brother of Mrs. James Kirkpatrick of Carrolltown and John, of Susquehanna township. Mass was celebrated in the Catholic church at Carrolltown Friday morning about 10 o'clock.
