He was for many years a carpenter and built many homes in this vicinity. For some time he was employed at the Swope planing mill at Carrolltown. He is survived by his widow and the following children: Mrs. Ross Leary and Mrs. Maud Weakland of Patton; Mrs. Ethel Boes of Allegheny Township; Mrs. Blanche Barnicle of Chest Springs and Miss Ophelia, at home. The funeral was held Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock with services in St. Monica's Catholic Church by the Rev. Father J. P. Dugan.
