Douglass **[The first two paragraphs of this obituary are illegible for transcription] William K. Douglass was born February 8, 1838. He was a veteran of the Civil War and was a member of Sergeant McCloskey Post 450 G. A. R. of Gallitzin. He also belonged to Fairman Grange. The deceased never married and is survived by one sister, Francena, living in Toledo, O. Funeral services were conducted at the home of Mr. Gallaher by the Rev. Mr. Watson, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal Church of which Mr. Douglass was a member. Interment was made in the Thornsharp (sic) Cemetery.
