His death occurred on the same farm on which he was born. Mr. Duman formerly served as a member of the Barr Township School Board and also served a term as road supervisor in the township. Mr. Duman was a son of George and Caroline (Nore) Duman, early settlers in Cambria County, and was born December 9, 1864. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary (Parrish) Duman, and these children: Rev. Father Maximilian Duman, O. S. B., St. Vincent's College, Beatty, Rupert Duman, Carrolltown; Leo A. Duman, Ebensburg; Mrs. Eleanor Stiffler, Twin Rocks; Gallitzin Duman, McKees Rocks, and Miss Rose Duman.
