(Ebensburg, Pa.) 1867-1938: June 13, 1873 Died on Saturday afternoon last, a the residence of her son-in-law, Ex-Sheriff Blair, Mrs. Mary Evans, relict of Thomas O. Evans, aged 76 years, 2 months and 21 days. The deceased, whose maiden name was Brawley, was born in the County Derry, Ireland, but was brought to this country when a mere child, her parents first locating for a few years in Lancaster county, from whence they removed in the year 1805 to the place now owned by a brother of the deceased, Mr. Michael Brawley, near Portage, this county... Her remains were interred in the Catholic cemetery in this place, on Monday, the funeral being one of the largest ever witnessed in our midst.
